Analysis of Main Controlling Factors and Gas Content Distribution Characteristics of No.15 Coal Seam in Tianchi Coal Mine

  • In order to study gas content distribution characteristics and its main controlling factors of No.15 coal seam of Tianchi coal mine,based on some data that mine geological report,geological prospecting and coring underground and so on,and then gas content distribution characteristic of No.15 coal seam was summarized,the controlling action that to gas control by geological structure, burial depth, seam thickness,roof and floor lithology and hydrogeology were analyzed systematic.The results showed that gas content distribution totally as north high and south low,west high and east low,gas content was low in middle part of coal mine.Gas would be enriched as closure structures,and its content reached about 16.61m3/t around closure structure,so some measures should be done during mining and driving process underground,and would influenced normal production plan.The gas content distribution characteristics were mainly controlled by buried depth,geological structure,roof and floor lithology and hydro geology.
