Studying on Coal Mining Method of Stope Face with Complex Thickness Coal Seam

  • To reasonable selection problems of mining method under complex thickness coal seam of 81201 working face in Yangmei two coal mine,the influence that the following factors to mining method were analyzed,which included that geological structure,roof,coal seam strength,incline angle and thickness of coal seam and dirt band and so on,collapse column development,broken roof and soft coal seam of 81201 working face were disadvantage to application of fully mechanized coal mining with high mining height,according synthesis analysis of mining situation, economy and safety,considered fully mechanized top coal caving with large mining possessed obviously superiority.According numerical analysis of coal wall stability and top coal property under different coal cutting height of fully mechanized top coal caving,and then the following conclusions that coal cutting height should not more than 4m of 81201 fully mechanized top coal mining face,considered the influence of dirt band thickness and development position,the last coal cutting height was 3.8m.
