Experimental Study of Coal Seam Gas Drainage Radius Based on Numerical Simulation

  • To the problem of rockburst in deep,and experimental detection of coal seam gas drainage radius experimental was done in Qianjiaying mine of Kailuan,and gas drainage radius of 5# coal seam was detected with pressure index method,the results showed that the gas drainage radius of 5# coal seam more than 1m,and then an effective radius of 5# coal seam was field test with improved content index method,it is between 3~4m,then seepage situation during drainage process was simulated with software RFPA2D-GasFlow,an effective radius was determined as 3.4m,and the optimum spacing of drainage hole distribution was 4.8m with mathematics analysis,it references for outburst prevention development of Qianjiaying coal mine.
