Analysis of Fault Zone Stability Based on Narrow Coal Pillar Mining Experiment

  • Similar material simulation model was built based on fault of Longdong coal mine,the rock body displacement variation law of two sides of fault zone during narrow coal pillar was monitored,the results showed that with the fault coal pillar width decreased,the roof and floorvertical displacement of goaf of upper wall of fault,the displacement increased with the distance to coal seam decreased,but the displacement of footwall was smaller,when coal pillar width was 30m,the displacement of roof and floor appeared mutation,the vertical displacement of upper and foot wall that close to fault zone appeared obviously difference,the displacement difference was 0.14m,fault zone instability was induced by rockmass diastrophism of upper wall,then fault active,the results could referenced for similar situation.
