Experimental Research on Selection of Significant Gas for Coal Sample

Based on status of coal spontaneous combustion in gob of a colliery,this paper made experimental research on selection of significant gas and proved that under suitable condition,CO,C₂H₄,C₃H₆,C₃H₈,C₂H₄/C₂H₆ might be significant gas of coal spontaneous combustion for this colliery.Experimental result might be used to direct coal production so as to reduce spontaneous combustion frequency in gob,influence range and loss of life,property and coal resource.
