Numerical Simulation for Relationship of Mining Width and Floor Failure Height

  • Floor failure height is the key to mining with water pressure.With mining width increasing,traditional statistical formula and theoretical formula of floor failure height couldn’t meet requirement of production practice.Taking mining 11th Coal Seam of a colliery as an example,this paper applied 2D finite difference software——F-RFPA2D to analyzing relationship of mining width and floor failure height and obtained critical mining width.
