Technology of Micro-seismic Monitoring for Rock-burst Forecast and Engineering Application

This paper introduced basic principles and technology of micro-seismic monitoring system.Compared with traditional drilling method and monitoring within close range,micro-seismic monitoring technology was static,real-time and could monitor from far distance.History data of mine rock-burst considered,monitoring data by comprehensive statistic might be as basic technical mean for rock-burst liability.Practice showed that comprehensive indices for rock-burst forecast were feasible and reliable.With mining depth increasing,micro-seismic monitoring technology would be important monitoring method for geological disaster forecast in deep mining.
