Abstract:
In order to research mechanical property of red sandstone collected from Meilinmiao mining area under freezing condition, 3-axial mechanical property test was made under different confining pressures and different temperature.Test results showed that confining pressure and temperature influenced frozen rock obviously.Uniaxial compression strength was linear with confining pressure at-15℃.Red sandstone still follows Mohr-Coulomb criterion whose cohesion was 11.99MPa and inner-friction angle was 33.7°.Compression strength was quadratic curve with temperature when confining pressure was 12MPa,elastic module was linear with temperature,and influence of temperature on Poisson ratio was small.The relationship formula of strength and temperature under 3 different confining pressures by curve matching,which could provide theoretical support for shaft driving.
