Abstract: Special experiment equipment was developed and some M-T experiments were made in laboratory in order to find the relationship between bolt pretension torsional moments and its axial pre-stresses.FLAC3D numerical model was established to simulate the pre-stresses distribution in surrounding rock and to find the relationship between bolt pre-stresses and roadway supporting effect.The analysis of monitoring results of experimental roadway showed the relationship.
