Abstract: Based on the problems of anchoring support material of Huozhou coal power group and development state were analyzed，the original anchoring support material of Huozhou coal power group were improved，the rock bolt steel that yield strength is 500MPa was used in field，and new type rock bolt and anchor plate was developed，and it could be matched with all kinds of rock bolt and anchor，spherical washer and antifriction washer also used in field，and translation effects of rock bolt pretension torsion moment was improved also，and supporting results of rock bolt and anchor was utilized largely，standardization and serialization of rock bolt，anchor and plate were realized，the field test showed that supporting results of improvement support material was favourable.
