Abstract: In exploring gob with transient electromagnetic method，the watery distribution characteristic of gob andaquifer was commonly analyzed by electrical property demonstrated by bedding slice map of apparent resistivity in target layer．For analyzing electrical abnormality of target layer and relationship between layers，3-d slice map was usually drawn．This paper introduced application of Voxler and Surfer software in drawing 3-d slice map of transient electromagnetic method，and concluded data requirement，effect difference and relationship between abnormality areas of two software．
