Abstract: Stowing mining is an important approach for increasing coal resource mined ratio，improving environment and realizing highefficiency and green mining of coal industry.This paper introduced structure characteristics and application status of gangue stowing，paste stowing，high-water material stowing and their relevant equipments.For 5m and over 5m large-mining-height mining face and topcoal caving face，it thought over stowing outfit and put forward research tendency.
