Abstract: Selecting-980m Main Roadway in Xingdong Colliery as monitoring roadway and applying intelligent multi-point displacement meter,rock deformation of different rock stratum positions was monitored. Results showed that failure range of surrounding rock was large,deformation value was mainly within 1-3m and 3-6m. Rock deformation processes might be classified as: severe deformation phrase,slow deformation phrase,steady deformation phrase. Grading supporting principle of resisting pressure with high resistance and secondary supporting was put forward. Good effect was made.
