Abstract: This paper applied hydro-fracture method to testing 14 points′ geo-stress in typical syncline tectonic area.These points located at syncline axes and wings.On the basis of test results,stress field variation characteristic in typical syncline tectonic area was analyzed.FLAC^3D was applied to analyzing stress field characteristic of typical syncline tectonic.Test and simulation result showed that syncline axes was where horizontal principal stress concentrated.
