Abstract: This paper analyzed dynamic variation process of "3-zones" in coal mining.Based on complex geological condition of Laohutai Colliery,numerical simulation was applied to analyzing "3-zones" and surface movement and deformation rule after long-wall stowing mining with water and sand.Observation data showed that the result was credible and numerical simulation could be used to direct safety mining.
