Abstract: Several shortcomings lie in pseudo-slant flexible shield support including fixed support structure,bad suitability for coal occurrence,complex installation and un-installation at head and end of mining face.Auto-moving flexible support was researched and designed to realize adjustable support width and auto-moving function along strike of face,which reduced largely labor intensity of workers and improved mechanized degree of mining face.
