Abstract: Aiming at occurrence conditions and combining development status of mining thick coal seam in home and abroad,this paper analyzed and compared the adaptability of mining in slices,full-mechanized caving mining and mining full height by analyzing difficulty degree of top coal,evaluating full-mechanized mining with expert system.The results showed that full-mechanized mining full height was better for high production and high effect and realizing the goal of "one mine,one face"and 300Mt annual production.
