Abstract: The threaten of rock burst in seam No.4 of Hua-feng coal mine becomes more and more serious with the increasing of mining depth.The mining of seam No.6 helps to decrease its probability of rock burst.The paper studies the reliving effect caused by the mining of seam No.6 by means of FLAC numerical simulation with the emphasized analysis on the influence of coal pillars under the condition of faults,which provides a theoretical base for the scientific mining of seam No.6.
